Sean Matthew Whiteford

SEAN MATTHEW WHITEFORD
(Book, Music & Lyrics)

 

It was Sean's lifelong obsession with 1980s culture and rock musicals that led to the birth of his own creation, I WAS A TEENAGE SHE-DEVIL. Sean Matthew Whiteford has been a professional performer, producer, and vocal coach based in New York’s Hudson Valley for over 20 years. From 2005 to 2020, he served as Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Castaway Productions, his own rock-and-roll theatrical company. As a performer, Sean has played the role of “Lonny” in ROCK OF AGES on the Norwegian Breakaway (directed by original Broadway director Kristin Hanggi), reprising the role at the El Dorado Showroom in Reno, and later directing its regional debut in Rhinebeck, NY. Other selected credits include title roles in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (which has received nearly 300k views on YouTube) & HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, Frank N Furter in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, and Woof in Remember Jones’ 50th Anniversary Concert of HAIR alongside Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis. 

 

He continues to write original funky anthems for SMW & THE HOUSE PARTY BAND, and recently composed the scores for his first two feature films, THE VORD and DEB & SETH SAVE THE WORLD. He is also the frontman of GET ZEP!, his collaboration with award-winning trio SUPER 400. Sean has been featured onstage with Judy Kang (Lady Gaga's violinist), The Harlem Gospel Choir, Remember Jones, Marc Martel, Corey Feldman, Joey Eppard, Jessie’s Girl, Party Rock, Rock N' Roll Debauchery, and the Virtual Journey Band on YouTube, where his performances have been praised by several members of JOURNEY. Rachel Klein

Rachel is a NYC based director specializing in new musical development. West End: Bettie Page Queen of Pinups, the Musical in concert at the Lyric Theatre (starring EastEnders' Shona McGarty). Claire Feuille

CLAIRE FEUILLE

Claire Feuille is a Tony-nominated producer and actor based in New York City. With Josh Dooley and Katie North, she is currently Co-Producing OPERATION MINCEMEAT (Tony Nomination, Olivier/ WhatsOnStage Awards for Best Musical) on Broadway and the short film Final Treatment. She is also lead producer on How Not to Fund a Honeymoon (Edinburgh Fringe 2025), and Relative Motion, premiering at London’s Southwark Playhouse in 2026. In 2022, she wrote, produced, and performed in Like Other Girls at Edinburgh Fringe, and she is excited to be returning to the festival in 2025! As an actor, she has trained at Dartmouth College (BA with Honors in Theater, BA with High Honors in Philosophy), LAMDA, and the Powerhouse Theater Training Company. At Dartmouth, she was the Managing Director of the Shakespeare troupe Dartmouth Rude Mechanicals. Josh Dooley

JOSH DOOLEY

(Lead Producer)


Josh is a Tony-nominated producer based in New York City. With Claire Feuille and Katie North, he is currently Co-Producing OPERATION MINCEMEAT (Tony Nomination, Olivier/WhatsOnStage Awards for Best Musical) on Broadway and the short film Final Treatment. He spent 7 years with Madison Square Garden in Production & Live Finance and most recently MediaLink, a division of UTA. A former actor and opera singer, he spent over 20 years performing in community theater and another 3 years in Regional and New York opera, in addition to serving as a producer on many of those projects. He worked as a PA on X-Factor, America's Got Talent, and other US Reality Shows. With Bryan Campione, he founded an entertainment events company called KlickTracx, which brought Broadway stars to karaoke bars in Downtown NYC. Leo De Rothchild

Leo is a theatre and film producer based in New York City. He is thrilled to be making his fringe debut as producer for SHE-DEVIL. Selected film and TV credits in production include The Theory of Everything, QI, Kids in Love, and Clarissa. Selected theatre credits include Black Comedy, Measure for Measure, and The Dumb Waiter. He holds a degree in Narrative Adaptation from NYU Gallatin. When not producing theatre and film, you can find him running his restaurant FIELDTRIP or his bar St Dymphna’s, both in NYC. Juda Leah

JUDA LEAH

Juda is a multifaceted designer, artist, and the founder of Juda Leah Atelier, a custom design studio that brings her distinctive vision to life through artwork, fashion, and home collections. Known for her unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship, Juda’s work spans multiple disciplines, with each piece reflecting her commitment to elegance, individuality, and innovation.

Juda’s distinctive style has earned her recognition among notable figures, including NYC stylists/Advanced Style icons Barbara Flood and Purely Patricia Fox. She has also worked with music artists Eric Redd and Kate Pierson of the B-52’s, creating high-impact designs that seamlessly blend fashion with performance art. Known for her innovative approach and keen eye for detail, she has worked across a wide range of projects, from theater to live performance. Her ability to create designs that not only enhance the narrative but also elevate the overall visual experience has made her a sought-after creative force. Her designs have been featured in publications including the New York Post, Chronogram, Saratoga Living, Hudson Valley Wedding Vortex, and Savor Life magazines.​ Juda has been the costume designer for SHE-DEVIL since its inception in 2011, and her expertise merging fashion and performance art led her to serve as Creative Consultant and Costume Designer for Castaway Productions for a decade.​ A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fashion Design.  www.judaleah.com IG: @judaleah

Ryan MacKenzie

RYAN MACKENZIE
(Musical Director & Vocal Transcription)

 

Ryan’s prodigious versatility as an arranger, composer and pianist has led to collaborations with some of the world’s most distinguished artists, including Alan Cumming, Pixie Lott, Rob Brydon, Griff Rhys Jones, Gabrielle Aplin, Benj Pasek, Donna McKechnie, Christina Bianco, New York Voices, Banksy, Richard Quinn and Wayne Sleep. His fluency encompasses pop, jazz, classical and folk, as well as work across TV, theatre and dance. Recent work includes projects with Netflix, London Fashion Week, the EFG London Jazz Festival, Strictly Come Dancing, and Celtic Connections.

 

As a composer-arranger, Ryan has written for for many of the UK’s top ensembles, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, English and Scottish Chamber Orchestras, and the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge. 

 

Theatre credits include Les MisérablesMary PoppinsPretty WomanGuys and DollsInto the Woods (Theatre Royal, Bath), West Side Story (International Tour), Shrek the Musical (UK Tour) and Wonderland (UK Tour). Ryland Reece

RYLAND REECE

Ryland, is a passionate and multi-talented creative with years of experience across film, television and live performance - both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. She’s done just about every job under the sun (and several in the shade), rarely takes a day off, and somehow still remembers where everyone left their water bottle. Ryland has a knack for making chaos look choreographed and for seamless problem-solving. Whether wrangling logistics or boosting morale, she makes everyone’s job easier—often without them noticing. Ryland is thrilled to bring her behind-the-scenes magic to SHE-DEVIL, helping hold the production together with skill, care, and a little bit of theater sorcery. 

 

 

Avery Rehl

AVERY REHL

(Associate Director & Choreographer/Swing)

 

Avery is an actor, singer, dancer, and pianist who has been performing since the age of four. She has appeared in numerous productions across the country, including a guest appearance in School of Rock: The Musical on Broadway. In addition to performing, Avery has worked behind the scenes as Assistant Director and Choreographer for The Shipley School’s productions of Mean Girls and Chicago. She is thrilled to make her Fringe debut this summer as Assistant Director and Choreographer for I Was a Teenage She-Devil! Avery is currently a rising sophomore at the University of Southern California, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her training also includes Stagedoor Manor (42nd Street, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, High Fidelity, Our Time Cabaret), Rockers on Broadway, and Broadway Dreams, where she was featured as a performer and soloist. Angelo is a theatrical lighting designer, based between London and New York City, designing for plays, musicals, dance, circus, puppetry, and devised theatre. Recent productions include the award-winning shows A Letter To Lyndon B Johnson Or God Whoever Reads This First (Edinburgh, 2024), What If They Are The Baby (London, 2024), and And The Rodeo Burned Down (London. 2024).
