Sean Matthew Whiteford

SEAN MATTHEW WHITEFORD
(Book, Music & Lyrics)

It was Sean’s avid, life-long obsession with obscure horror films, 1980s culture, and rock musicals that led to the birth of his own creation, I WAS A TEENAGE SHE-DEVIL — a project he’s been developing for 15 years.

Sean has been a professional performer, producer, and international vocal coach for 20 years. From 2005-2020, he served as Artistic Director/Co-Founder of the rock-and-roll theatrical production company, Castaway Productions.

Sean just returned from touring the US as the Lead Male Vocalist for THE ROCK ORCHESTRA. Sean is known for his performances in ROCK OF AGES, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. He has shared the stage with artists such as JUDY KANG (Lady Gaga), THE HARLEM GOSPEL CHOIR, REMEMBER JONES, MARC MARTEL, COREY FELDMAN, JESSIE’S GIRL, and VIRTUAL JOURNEY BAND on YouTube, where his performances have been praised by several members of JOURNEY. He recently composed the scores for two feature films, THE VORD and DEB & SETH SAVE THE WORLD. He is also the frontman of SMW & THE HOUSE PARTY BAND and GET ZEP, his collaboration with award-winning trio SUPER 400.
